Custompol

Typeface - Poster

Part of a university project was to create a typographical poster of 2 typefaces. These were then taken and designed to merge into one unique typeface.

Custompol as I titled it was my typeface inspired from merging 'Neuropol' and 'Cloister Black' into one. Decided to use a very modern and old fashioned typeface purposely to see what could work. My approach of using the Cloister Black serifs and swishes and then adapting Neuropol ended up creating a strange but mesmerizing hybrid typeface.
